Workout glove sizing and care: fit, padding and washing

How to measure for VINSGUIR workout gloves, how a lifting glove should fit, and how to wash padded gym gloves so they last.

Measure around the knuckles

Wrap a soft tape around your hand at the knuckles, thumb excluded. Compare that to the size chart on the listing. Between sizes, pick the larger one for pulling and the smaller one for cardio.

How it should feel

With the strap open, the glove should slide on with a little resistance and no loose fabric at the fingertips. The palm padding should sit under the finger joints, where a bar actually rests, not in the middle of the palm.

Close the strap snug enough that the wrist feels held but your fingers stay warm.

Washing without ruining them

Close the hook-and-loop first so it doesn't snag. Hand wash in cool water with a little mild soap, press the water out in a towel and dry the gloves open and flat. Heat is what ruins padding, so keep them off radiators and out of dryers.

Wrist wraps are the exception: they go in the washing machine.
